Mr. Donald H. Snyder Jr. is the Man behind the inception of the Snyder Specialty Cars. Don had a great interest in cars early on as a young man growing up in Northeastern Ohio in a small farming community known as New Springfield, Ohio. Don & his father shared a passion for Ford Model T`s and loved to tinker & restore them . They began to reproduce some needed parts that were unavailable in those days. This hobby was soon cultivated into a business. Snyder`s Antique Auto Parts

which began in 1959 selling parts to friends and traveling around from show to show. Today Snyder`s is selling parts Worldwide and is one of the largest suppliers of Ford 1909-1931 reproduction parts.

Snyder`s Antique Auto Parts is now Owned and operated by Don Snyder III

Don`s eldest Son who has been involved in the business for over 30 years.

Don hung on to the cars he drove & acquired along the way , which was the beginning of his affair with Car Collecting.

Also in those days factory Drag Racing was all the rage and people loved to see them run. He was no exception and this began his interest in Factory Lightweights , Drag Cars & just plain horsepower of any kind.

Don is a fan of Truck & Tractor Pulling. He owns and operates a 

1998 Peterbilt modified pulling Truck, which was the 2001

National Points Champion known as "Mr. Nasty".

Don is a farmer at heart and has been farming land in Ohio for 30 years.

Snyder Farms currently works 800 acres and raises approx. 300 head of Cattle. Snyder Farms Trucking Co. also operates from this location.

​

He is also a family man. Don and his wife Karry have four children

& twelve grandchildren.
